2024 Equinox EV

It’s hard to believe that kids born in 2005 are now adults.
That technically makes the Chevy Equinox an adult. And like most kids born in 2005, it’s gone through a lot of changes.
Which brings us to probably the most significant change in the Equinox’s life—its first all-electric entry.
Yup, the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV is right around the corner, and we’re excited to share it with you. If you’re interested in buying this new EV, don’t forget to fill out the waitlist form at the bottom of the page. If you’re interested in a Chevy SUV EV but don’t want to wait for the Equinox release, we’d suggest a 2024 Chevy Blazer EV for sale in Wilkesboro and the surrounding areas.
When’s the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV expected to come out?
The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV 2RS trim is expected to come out in fall 2023. So just a few months away!
The rest of the trims, however, are expected to be released in the spring of 2024. More on the variation in trims later.
What SUVs compete with the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV?
The Equinox EV is an all-electric SUV, so it competes with cars like the Volkswagen ID.4, the Nissan Ariya, and the Hyundai Kona EV.
What’s interesting though, is that unlike most EVs which are just offered as a trim on an existing gas-powered platform, the Equinox EV is its own car. Which means it has its own range of trims available that offer depth, variation, and price flexibility in a way that most other car brands don’t.
What trims are available on the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV?
The Chevy Equinox EV will be available in 5 different trims that are all conveniently named:
- Starting with the Chevy Equinox EV 1LT, which is the base trim. It boasts 19” wheels, and comes with all the standard Chevy Safety Assist features. It’s the most price-efficient trim and delivers an EPA-estimated range of 250 miles with its FWD configuration.
- Next is the 2LT. A small but beautiful benefit here is the front LED light bar which looks gorgeous. It comes with FWD but is also offered with an e-AWD upgrade. This one’s supposed to deliver an EPA-estimated 300 miles with FWD.
- Next is the 2RS trim, which really leans into its sporty looks. It’s got 20” dark aero wheels with a black-painted grille panel and lower fascia. As we mentioned earlier, this one’s going to be the first model available! (Fall 2023)
- Then is the 3LT, with some fantastic tech like Reverse Automatic Braking and ventilated front seats. It boasts 21” aluminum wheels and also offers an EPA-estimated 300 miles with its FWD.
- Last but not least, there’s the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV 3RS—the highest-end trim. It’s got a 19.2 KW Level 2 charging module upgrade available and looks the sleekest of the lot with its bold 21” dark aero wheels.
